Get your garden growing! In this workshop, you’ll learn about the importance of amazing soil and learn how different soil amendments influence your garden plants. Discover how you can use DIY organic fertilizers and amendments such as kelp, compost, compost tea, and rock dust.
Catherine has 30 years of experience in the horticulture industry. She was an instructor at Capilano University, where she taught horticulture students about soils and integrated pest management. Currently, she is an instructor in the Horticulture Basics program of the BC Landscape Nursery Association and teaches the organic Master Gardener program for Gaia College.
