Do It Together: Step It Up - Sleep Sachets
Event Information
Description
Step It Up: Sleep Sachets
A sachet is a small pile of herbs wrapped in fabric. A sleep sachet uses relaxing herbs (e.g., lavender, chamomile). They are sometimes called dream pillows or sleep pillows. Other common sachet types are used to scent linens (e.g., lemon balm), keep moths out of sweater drawers (e.g., rosemary), or keep a backpack or car smelling nice (e.g., cedar).
In this repeat workshop we'll make multiple sachets -- one to take home and more for the Moss Park Market. Join us for a companionable and productive afternoon!
Note: Please arrive 5 minutes prior to 3:00 and plan to attend for the entire workshop. Homemade snacks and hot beverages will be served during the introductions. Don't forget to bring your reusable mug!
Building Roots can offer only a limited number of spaces for the free workshops. If you register, please show up -- or do us the courtesy of canceling by Friday so someone else can have the spot.
This workshop is part of the Building Roots Do It Together series and is FREE for all to attend - donations are welcome but not necessary.
