About the speaker:
Dr. Arshad Ahmad is the Associate Vice President, Teaching & Learning and Director of McMaster University’s MacPherson Institute. He is passionate about teaching. In 1992, he was recognized with a lifetime 3M National Teaching Fellowship. He is past president of The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, a national association of Canadian teachers and Vice-President of The International Consortium for Educational Development consisting of 24 member organizations worldwide. Both seek to improve the quality of the student learning experience. He is currently leading Finance for Everyone, a Coursera Mooc specialization and has written about personal finance on Quora.
