Come and join Dr Landon McLean, Dr Lauren Crape and Hayley Ostridge RHN as they share their professional and personal experience on how to maximize your health this winter.

In this 3 part series we discuss approaches to achieve a healthier more resilient you. We focus on the topics of fuelling your adventures, maintaining a healthy immune system and post activity recovery routines.

You will learn proven approaches, ideas and recipes to help fuel better, heal faster, recover like a champ and spend more time and energy on what you love to do.

Our first session on January 6th 2018 focuses on food and fuelling. You will leave with the background and approaches to:

  • Pre mountain nutrition Preparation
  • Food, your fuel - what to choose and maintaining your energy levels
  • How your body processes and uses different foods and why it is important to find the right balance for your lifestyle.

Our second session on January 19th 2018 we look at approaches for physical and nutritional recovery:

  • Fuelling for recovery, the importance in rebuilding
  • Mobility and recovery
  • Best strategies for returning to the outdoors after exercise

For our third and final session January 27th 2018 turns attention to how to stay well to support your work and play:

  • Boosting your immune system
  • Proven approaches to staying healthy all winter
  • Impacts of staying healthy for your work

You'll leave with real approaches, ideas and recipes to help fuel better and save money. Join us so you can spend more time and energy on what you love to do.
