Join us and we delve into the life of George Brown, a Father of Confederation and the founder of The Globe and Mail. Learn about this complicated figure, an abolitionist, anti-union politician, and newspaper owner murdered by a disgruntled employee; and his impacts on our city and nation.


NOTE: This tour includes an interior visit of George Brown House, presented in partnership with the Ontario Heritage Trust.


Start Point: St. Lawrence Hall (157 King Street East)
