Dr. Allyson Stevenson is the Gabriel Dumont Institute Chair in Métis Studies and a Faculty Member in Indigenous Studies at the University of Saskatchewan. She is a Métis scholar who focuses on the history of Indigenous child welfare and Indigenous women's political organizing.
