About this Event

Have you ever wondered how to incorporate more dried goods into your cooking? Do you want to learn more about the basics of food for holistic health in Chinese medicine?

Join hua foundation to dive deeper into exploring dried goods and their cultural role in the Chinese Canadian community. 

Participants will go through a recipe for a restorative chicken soup paired with a refreshing cucumber salad. Attendees will take home a copy of the Dried Goods guide illustrated by Pearl Low along with a kit and full recipe to start cooking with dried goods at home.

This workshop will be led by knowledgeable community members and home cooks.

This workshop is part of Sustenance Festival 2019 and the Feasting for Change exhibit programming at Roundhouse Community Centre.
