Driverless Vehicles - How this technology will impact the way work, live, and play, and implications on vehicle design and infrastructure.
About this event
Dr. Mark Lee Levine has a passion for understanding the future impacts of driverless vehicle (DV) technology and how it will change how society moves, where we choose to live and how we work. This technology will also impact the design, types and functionality of the vehicles we use, and that serve us.
Dr. Levine will be presenting and leading a discussion on the societal impacts of driverless vehicle technology and sharing his thoughts on how infrastructure, passenger vehicles and heavy equipment and vehicle design may evolve as a result.
Dr. Levine, is a Fulbright Scholar and DV expert from the University of Denver. His expertise is in real estate law but his research reaches far beyond into the impacts that this technology will have in city planning, infrastructure and vehicle design and functionality.
