CFO Leadership Council members may attend this program for free. Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program at a one-time cost of $50, plus HST.

Please note that service providers or any executives who are not senior financial executives (CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, Directors of Finance, etc.) will not be admitted attendance to this event. The CFO Leadership Council reserves the right to decline any registration.

Ron Cuthbertson

Ron has over 25 years of senior executive experience in domestic and multinational business. Currently, Chief Business Development Officer at Fixt Wireless, CEO of Protea Solutions Group, and Partner at Link4Success (Hong Kong). Prior to Fixt, President Global Operations at NextWorth Solutions, North American Practice Leader - Retail & CPG at Alexander Proudfoot Consulting, President & CEO at The Source (Bell) Electronics, CEO SeaLink Sourcing Group (HK, PRC, TWN) Ltd., Chief Supply Chain Officer of Circuit City Stores (USA) & CEO Circuit City Global Sourcing, EVP Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain at Best Buy. Ron holds an MBA in Strategy, Operations and Economics from Edinburgh Napier University.


Dick Freeborough
Board Director

Dick Freeborough is a seasoned and experienced Board Director for several years. Dick has held many chair positions both Board and committee and has specialized in financial services. Dick is experienced in mentoring CEOs and other senior execs.

Dick has the acquired the following specialties: audit and finance committees, governance, risk management, board and committee leadership. Dick has been Board Director at RGA Life ReInsurance and Economical Mutual Insurance Company .

Dick graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting from McGill University.

Peter Beresford
Chairman at Funding Innovation

Peter is a Global Executive with 31 years of Senior Management experience with McDonald’s Corp. He served most recently as Senior Vice President and Global Brand Management Officer.

Peter also served as Chairman and CEO for McDonald’s in the United Kingdom as well as Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer for Canada and Japan. Also, he is the volunteer President and Board Member of Toronto’s famous Santa Claus Parade.

Peter graduated from Western University with a Bachelor in Business and Economics.
