About this Event

About

If you have a hand in product creation or development in your workplace, one of the best tools to have under your belt is a thorough understanding of innovation processes and mindsets. These methods help organizations navigate the most complex of challenges, while achieving the most important outcome: creating positive user experiences for customers and employees.By applying the three key elements of innovation processes – inspiration, ideation and implementation – product developers are able to identify value-creating opportunities and turn them into useful products and services for their companies.

Come to this hands-on workshop, prepared to learn the three key elements of innovation and use them to tackle your company’s design challenges. In the inspiration phase, you will be immersed in the customer environment and gain a better understanding of what it is they need or want. Then, in the ideation phase, participants will draw on lessons learned to explore unique, creative solutions by co-creating prototypes that are aligned with their vision and ideals. This sets the stage for the implementation phase, where solutions are adopted and shared with the general public for feedback and review.

Led by Christine Hamblin (BCA, BSc, MTEI), Atlantic Innovation Lead at Accenture, participants will leave this fast-paced, immersive workshop with the tools they need to drive new product innovation in their workplace for years to come.
