Drug Pricing in Canada: Mobilizing Patients To Action
On November 15-16, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m., you are invited to join the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network, Save Your Skin Foundation, the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario and other patient groups for a summit to discuss drug pricing in Canada and to identify roles and strategies for patients and patient groups in the drug pricing environment.
The summit focuses on education and awareness-building for patients from all disability and disease areas about the regulatory, public and private policy environments for drug and biologics pricing in Canada.
The educational portions will be presented in a series of expert panels which will include representatives from government agencies, the pharmaceutical industry, prescribers and patients.

Following the panels, patient and patients groups will be given the opportunity to identify their potential roles in this setting and to discuss strategic objectives for such roles.
In addition to patient groups, observers from other stakeholder groups including governments, private industry, unions and healthcare professionals are invited to attend the panel sessions.
