The DSC Socialist Reading Group brings leftists together to engage with socialist ideas in a lively, open, and non-doctrinaire environment. The group examines and discusses ideas and concepts on building power on the left, debates within socialism, and a deeper understanding of class analysis.

You don't need to be a DSC member to participate and the group is open to people thinking about socialist politics for the first time, as well as more seasoned friends for intellectual debate and open discussion.

All reading materials for discussion will be provided digitally to participants ahead of the meeting.

In an effort to allow participants to engage in meaningful discussion, each section of the reading group will be capped at 15 people and there will likely be multiple sessions simultaneously.
