Event description

Description

The Associate Member Society of FISA BC (AMS) invites all Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley independent secondary school administrators and counsellors to attend this April 11th information session in Surrey at Khalsa Secondary School to learn how your students can get a head start on their university studies.

Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) and local schools have partnered together to create the Dual Credit Program-an exciting opportunity for students from across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. This program allows Grade 11 or 12 students to take university courses during their final high school years at KPU and experience what life as a university student is like.

The Dual Credit Program will help students transition from high school to university and possibly into the workplace while earning both high school graduation and university credits. Students can attend KPU while they are still finishing high school and get an advance experience at the post-secondary level. Credits earned at KPU may be transfered to other post-secondary institutions.
