Event Details

Come and join us for an information session seminar on Henson Trust Funds and Power Of Attorney. 

When: Monday May 29th or Tuesday June 6th.  This is the same information being shared just two different dates to try and accommodate families. 

Where: Durham Corporate Centre 105 Consumers Rd, Whitby, ON Suite 2 (Conference Room)

Time: 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Cost: FREE

Light Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

 

Andrew D. Felker

Andrew articled with Walker, Head and joined the firm upon his call to the Bar. Andrew is a partner at Walker, Head and is also the firm’s wills and estates lawyer. Andrew practices exclusively in the area of wills, estates and estate litigation. He is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in Estates and Trusts Law.

Andrew has extensive experience representing individuals, executors, beneficiaries and attorneys under a power of attorney, in the areas of Will drafting (including provisions for disabled beneficiaries), powers of attorney, trust documents, incapacity issues (Henson Trusts), estate administration, guardianship issues and estate litigation, including Will interpretations, passing of estate accounts and dependant support proceedings.

Andrew has conducted many trials and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Andrew frequently presents seminars in the local community regarding Wills and Estates issues.

1.) Do I need to bring proof of diagnosis?
No, not needed.  Just check in at the registration desk and enjoy the event.

2.) Do I need to be a member of Autism Ontario to register and participate?
No.  While membership does provide other great opportunities, all Potential Programme events from Autism Ontario are open to all families with children under 18 with ASD who reside in Ontario.
