Event description

Description

Dying to Know is a monthly Hospice Calgary education program open to anyone interested in topics that we will be covering related to death and dying.

In Spirituality & Ritual at End-of-Life, Darrin Parkin, Hospice Calgary’s Spiritual Care Coordinator, and Blair Collins, personal coach and Marriage Commissioner will explore the history of spirituality as it impacts palliative care and experience the nature of ritual that brings meaning to life and death. As we reflect on our mortality, spirituality can have new or clearer meaning. Similarly, rituals can deepen our experience of life and the dying experience.

All Dying to Know sessions are at Sage Centre (1245 - 70 Avenue SE) with free parking available in front of the building and across the street at Trail Appliances. To register for our seminars, for current information on our education opportunities and to access additional resources, visit our website: hospicecalgary.ca/education.
