E106 Energy Advisor Foundation Exam Training for Canada Greener Home Grant

3 FULL DAYS OF TRAINING: THURSDAYS, JUNE 9, 16 & 23, 2022

The federal government is seeking the training of up to 2,000 trained EnerGuide Energy Advisors to perform the mandatory home energy inspections required for the new Canada Greener Homes Grant program. This is the course to prepare aspiring Energy Advisors to prepare them for the first rigorous Natural Resources Canada test, the Foundation Level Exam. This is a huge career opportunity for future EnerGuide Energy Advisors.

The initial National Resources Canada (NRCan) Foundation Level exam assesses foundational competencies such as numeracy, low-rise housing construction and renovation, building envelope, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, building science principles and the house-as-a-system concept.” Quote from NRCan

The main objective of this course is to increase the chance of the participants in passing the EnerGuide Rating System Foundation Level Exam (V15). With over 200 learning objectives in this course, it provides a solid knowledge foundation for participants who will also be challenging the EnerGuide Rating System Energy Advisor Exam. This exam consists 150 multiple choice questions with a passing mark of 75% or higher. Participants have a maximum of 3 hours to complete the exam in a recognized exam centre approved by NRCan.
