Event description

Description

The Ottawa Network for Education is hosting a training session for individuals who want to volunteer as an Early Literacy Read Aloud volunteer.

This read-aloud workshop will help you support JK to grade 3 students using various early literacy strategies.

NOTE: if you have not received your Police Vulnerable Sector Check prior to the workshop date, you can attend the workshop but will not be allowed to volunteer until you have met all requirements of the screening process.

This opportunity is available for all registered volunteers only.

Registration on Eventbrite is required as the room is small!

Please park behind the Confederation Learning Centre parking lot. If it's full park at Nepean Sportsplex--both are free. Please note that the morning ESL classes end at noon so the lot may have a FULL sign up but it may have space.

ENTER DOOR D at the northeast corner of the building and follow the signs to the basement room 13 right at the bottom of the stairs.
