About Earth Common Journal: Earth Common Journal is an international, undergraduate, peer-reviewed academic journal published by MacEwan University's Department of Communication to provide a forum where students share research on conservation, sustainability, and climate change.
Morgan is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Communication Studies degree at MacEwan University. Before submerging in the field of communications, she studied Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Alberta. Her interest in both nutrition and communications were put to good use throughout the entirety of her original study on education and nutrition, which was conducted in Quito, Ecuador in 2014. She also explored this topic a bit while volunteering in Ghana so it was excellent to see how the two experiences compared. To deepen her understanding of education and nutrition, Morgan traveled to Groningen, Netherlands in May 2016 to conduct her study at Hanze University. Her findings were compared with those of Ecuador, with some interesting conclusions and recommendations resulting from her comprehensive research.
