Earth Day Lunch & Learn for Rural Landowners
Event Information
About this Event
This event is intended for rural residents and agricultural landowners in the Credit River Watershed with properties of one acre or more. Find out if you live in the watershed here.
With nearly 80 per cent of the land in our watershed privately owned, rural residents and agricultural landowners have a unique opportunity to make a global impact by undertaking land and water stewardship projects on their properties.
At this free online event, CVC's stewardship and restoration experts will discuss stewardship projects that can benefit your rural property and restore the Earth!
You’ll learn about:
- Tree planting using seedlings or larger stock
- Identifying, managing, and removing invasive species
- Well upgrades and septic care
- Restoring and enhancing fragile agricultural land
- Funding and assistance to help you get started
You’ll also have the opportunity to speak directly with CVC’s experts. Come ready with your questions!
Only 30 spots are available so register early.
Registration is limited to residents of the Credit River Watershed with a property of one acre or more.
