Echoes of Home Art Exhibit
Overview
Echoes of Home is a visual journey through memory, belonging, and identity. This exhibition marks my first solo show, and I would be honoured to share this moment with you.
Drawing from my diasporic experience, I explore the ways home lives within us—shaping our sense of self long after we leave the places that formed us. When I paint skin, I imagine it as a cosmos: a space where stars, constellations, and galaxies trace ancestry, memory, and presence. Through acrylic and oil on canvas, I invite viewers to consider how the body can hold both personal and cosmic histories.
This collection reflects on the beauty in ordinary moments, the poetry within ourselves, and the universal longing to feel seen, grounded, and expansive—at once small and infinite, like the universe itself.
I hope you’ll join me for an evening of art, connection, and reflection.
