About this Event
Eco Craft: Strawberry Wool Dryer Ball Workshop - Beginner friendly
Instructor: Jacquelyn Miccolis | Included: 2 hrs of instruction & supplies
Protecting ourselves and our planet have never been so important. Now is a great time to move towards a more eco-friendly lifestyle. During this workshop participants will learn about the benefits of sustainable and eco-friendly living and make 2 of their very own strawberry wool dryer balls to take home.
What makes wool dryer balls so AWESOME?
Wool dryer balls typically last for about 2-4 years or 1,000 loads of laundry. Therefore, not only are they a great eco friendly alternative to dryer sheets but, they are budget friendly too!
How do wool dryer balls work?
Wool dryer balls cut at least 25% off the time to dry a load of laundry, saving time and energy. They work their way into tight spaces and that’s what makes them so awesome. Dryer balls also agitate against the fibers in clothes and linens, which makes everything feel softer coming out of the dryer.
During this fun workshop you will learn how to make three of your very own wool dryer balls, through the art of needle felting. Never needle felted before? No sweat! It's not as hard as you might think. Seriously, anyone can do it and Jacquelyn is excited to teach you.
