Event description

Description

As we head into summer, we invite you to celebrate the movers and shakers of our startup ecosystem at Volta's inaugural Ecosystem Impact Awards & Summer Party on Thursday, June 6, 2019. The event begins at 5:30pm in the Volta Event Space.

In partnership with RBC, Volta's inaugural Ecosystem Impact Awards & Summer Party recognizes various changemakers and supporters who are rapidly transforming the startup ecosystem in Atlantic Canada. These five award categories include: Catalyst, Positive Impact, Community Leader, Corporate Supporter, and Disruptor. See below for a full description of the award criteria.

Following the distribution of awards, we will shift into celebration mode, enjoying the beautiful change of season over a refreshment, some delicious food, and music.

The Ecosystem Impact Awards & Summer Party is a great opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs, leaders and key stakeholders in the business community, but most importantly, to celebrate the rapid growth, successes and support that the Atlantic Canadian startup ecosystem has been experiencing.

All proceeds from ticket sales will support the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, a registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of Nova Scotians living with mental illness and addictions.
