EDA Metering Workshop 2022 - Vendors

In order to maintain an exciting and educational Electric Metering Event each year, the EDA Niagara Grand & Upper Canada District organizing committees will work together to form one (1) event each year with each committee hosting on alternate years.

The EDA Niagara Grand & Western District and Best Western Lamplighter Inn is looking forward to a return to in-person events this year, consistent with any current provincial health and safety protocols. As always, our networking and professional development offerings provide members with valuable opportunities to come together and connect with each other. As restrictions ease in Ontario, we would like to remind attendees that we will be offering a mask friendly event. Masks will be available at the registration desk for all those that wish to wear a mask indoors to accommodate their personal comfort level. On event days, please self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and refrain from attending if you exhibit symptoms.

The EDA Niagara Grand & Western Districts Metering Exhibition and Workshop is scheduled for September 28 & 29, 2022 at Best Western Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre in London. This event will again attract front-line utility personnel from over 40 Ontario electricity distribution utilities located between Niagara Falls and Windsor, as well as from around the entire province, along with vendors of metering supplies and services involved in retail and wholesale metering.

The workshop program itself will run from 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday September 28th through lunch hour on Thursday September 29th.

Again this year, EDA Niagara Grand offers credit card and cheque payments in conjunction with Eventbrite™. There will be over 30 vendor booths in the exhibition (booth layout included in email). The fee for the booth will cover the booth and one (1) attendant, but you are welcome to have additional attendants at an added fee. Vendors who wish to attend the workshop seminars must register as a participant and pay the full registration fee. Vendors will have access to the exhibit area for set-up from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday evening, September 27th, with the requirement that their displays be ready no later than 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday September 28th. Tear down will commence at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday September 29th.

As in previous years, a social evening will be convened on Wednesday evening September 28th from 7 pm to 11 pm in the Atrium.  

Tuesday September 27th 8:00 pm: We will have cash bar, pizza & cheese trays available in Atrium.
