An authentic and challenging dialogue on thinking of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) as more than a box-ticking exercise. Examining the complexities of meaningful change and the unique nuances of our communities.

Moderator: Dr. Charlotte Karam (she, her, elle), Director, Executive MBA and Associate Professor, Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa

Speakers:

Jesse Jones (BA ’03; Gee Gees men’s basketball ’00–’02; him, he, il) is a creator, executive producer, host, speaker and head of Jones & Jones Group. He was also the host of season one of Bachelor in Paradise Canada and has also appeared as co-host on ET Canada.

Dr. Sarah Saska (MA ’10; she, her, elle) is the co-founder and CEO of Feminuity, a global strategy firm that partners with technology startups through Fortune 500 companies to build diverse teams, equitable systems, and inclusive products and company cultures.

Sunshine Tenasco (BEd '04; BA '03; she, her, elle) is an Anishinabeg entrepreneur and clean water activist. She is the CEO of Pow Wow Pitch, founder of Her Braids and author of “Nibi’s Water Song”.
