Chef Alexei Boldireff
An accomplished pastry chef, baker, butcher, charcuterer, and Chef, Boldireff is a culinary tour de force. Alexei honed his culinary prowess at some of Edmonton’s Finest restaurants ranging from Café De Ville, to Café Select to the Marc and has staged under some of Canada’s most notable chefs including Connie de Sousa (Charcut, Top Chef Canada), Susur Lee (Susur, Lee Lounge), and Robert Clark (C Restaurant Vancouver) just to name a few. Alexei is currently the genius behind S’WICH Food Truck and his new restaurant is already in the works. He comes to food fight hungry for victory and looking for blood.

Chef Spencer Thompson
Chef Thompson is the owner and culinary mastermind behind Toast Fine Catering, an eatery & catering company right in the heart of The Old Strathcona farmers market. Spencer has a thirst for all things local and a knack for creating delicious dishes each week with ingredients from the market. He developed his technique apprenticing under Sonny Sung of Sorrentinos & Bistecca fame before moving on to cooking at Elm Café & the Marc. When Alexei threw down the culinary gauntlet over twitter Spencer picked it up and threw it right back.
