Event description

Description

The Edmonton World Health Organization Simulation is an annual 3-day conference hosted at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.

EdmontonWHO participants assume the role of a member state delegate and work with their peers to develop resolution papers to address the health challenges surrounding the global health theme of the year. This is a unique opportunity for student leaders in high school and university to make a real difference in global health policies by participating in a weekend of dialogue on Organ Trade and Trafficking. Final resolutions created at the conference will be sent to World Health Organization (WHO) along with the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations

The conference brings together students from a wide range of disciplines to discuss global health issues in a manner that is respectable and intended to develop a deeper understanding of health, sustainability, and progress. We welcome students from all educational backgrounds to be a part of our 2018 conference.

The registration fee covers breakfast and lunch throughout the conference as well as a networking gala with dinner and an awards ceremony for delegates!
