Event description
East Side Stories

About this Event

East Side Stories features the haunted history of Peterborough’s most famous structure, the Lift Lock. Participants will also learn about the Theatre Guild’s ghost-in-residence and the strange sightings at the former St. Joseph’s Hospital, as well as many lesser known hauntings. This tour also includes a trek up Armour Hill, so bring a flashlight, wear good walking shoes and be prepared for a workout.

Please Note: We take the safety of our attendees and volunteer guides very seriously. Screening prior to each tour will be done and we will adhere to appropriate physical distancing throughout the tour. The wearing of masks is strongly encouraged. While everyone is welcome, we encourage you to enjoy the tours with members of your circle.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No, this tour is all ages. However, there is sensitive material on the tour so keep that in mind when bringing children.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can contact the Trent Valley Archives by calling 705-745-4404

What's the refund policy?

Tours run rain or shine! Unfortunately we cannot refund event tickets except in the case of event cancellation by the Trent Valley Archives when no alternate date is provided. If you wish to exchange your tickets for the same type/cost of event offered on a different date please contact the Trent Valley Archives at 705-745-4404 and this will be accommodated where ever possible.
