Board meetings are a legal and critical part of governance. And they can be productive as well as gratifying for board members if there is clear purpose and structure, effective chairing, understanding of participant roles and effective management of dialogue and procedure.
Join us on June 1st for “Effective Board Meetings” where participants will gain knowledge in the following areas and have enhanced capacities to:
- Prepare for meetings;
- Structure the meeting agenda;
- Create an effective meeting package;
- Chair a meeting;
- Understand the role of meeting participants;
- Manage voting;
- Handle confidential matters;
- Understand Robert’s Rules of Order;
- Devise strategies for implementing meeting rules of procedure.
