Effectively Supporting People Who Use Methamphetamine

The Toronto Drop-In Network (TDIN) funded by the City of Toronto's

Downtown East Action Plan is offering two seperate training opportunities via

ZOOM/video to help staff (including peer workers and volunteers) working in

the Downtown East support clients who use meth. One full day 10am-4pm and

two half-days 9:30am-1pm

Staff will learn how meth is developed, the history of its use, and how it effects

those who use it. This training will also support workshop participants to

understand the current context of meth use among people who are street involved

and practical ways to ensuring appropriate care.
