Are you looking to give back to the community in a meaningful way? Are you excited to get outside? Do you want to increase your knowledge of farming and gardening?

We have tons of different ways to get involved with the Edible Garden Project! Come out to Loutet Farm to meet the Farmer and learn more. We currently have opportunities to volunteer at our farm site (Loutet Farm), with our children's programs, or with our Sharing Gardeners, where volunteers grow food for donation to local organizations. Orientations happen outside, so dress for the weather! The first volunteer shift begins right after the orientation, so you are welcome to stay and start right away - or just come for the orientation.

Please note that we will have Covid-19 protocols in place. Masks are mandatory on site, and please do not attend if you are feeling any flu-like symptoms, if you've been in contact with anyone with a confirmed case of Covid-19, or if you have travelled outside the province within the last two weeks.

Washrooms and drinking water available on site. Please bring your own water bottle. Covered area available for storing bags (please leave valuables at home). All skill levels welcome, no experience necessary!
