Eh? Plus Canadian Wines: Wines of Canada

All right! Canada’s known for a few things: being a bit chilly, full of polite folks, chinooks, pencil crayons, and cranking out world-class whisky and beer. You know we’re a country of wine lovers, too, eh? In 2024, Canada was the fourth-largest wine importer in the world, bringing in over 5% of the world’s wine imports! Not too shabby!

Don’t go thinking we just import all the good stuff, though. We make it here, too! From the Island to the Rock, over half of Canada’s provinces make wine made from grapes more local than your typical double-double. Pretty minty!
