Capt. Stephen Brown: Marine Risk Management in support of Canadian Energy Exports

Capt. Stephen Brown spent 21 years at sea where he served as Master for the last 5 years, latterly with Gearbulk Shipping.

After coming ashore, Stephen worked in various levels of operational management for Gearbulk Shipping in South Africa, China, Indonesia, the UK and Vancouver.

Served as Chamber of Shipping Director 2000 – 2008 and President from 2008 – 2016.

Currently Owner/President – West Pacific Marine Ltd., Marine Consultancy.

Capt. Brown will give a 45 minute talk which will include factual information regarding tanker traffic in and out of the Port of Vancouver and Howe Sound.
