The movie is called “the weekend sailor”. It is a one hour movie about the first Whitbread Race (that became the Volvo Race) in 1974. It's a truly inspirational movie about ordinary people doing extraordinary things with unexpected results. A Mexican man encourages his son to come on this adventure. The whole family gets involved and even Mom comes along joined by a motley group. Ramon, the Dad, melds this seemingly mismatched group into a team that takes on the British Navy and the best sailors of the day. It's exciting and it's inspiring.”
