Event description

Description

The Early Literacy Alliance of Waterloo Region wants to spark a conversation about human connection & the art of conversation.

Join us for an evening of face to face communication & experiences:

  • Wanna play? You’ll get private access to a mind-blowing installation of interactive digital art at the Museum.
  • Use bitcoin yet? Get hands on information about the emerging world of e-commerce and find out how it's going to impact your life.
  • Need a smart phone break? Create a DIY pouch to help you use your smartphone more responsibly. (This activity involves the therapeutic use of a hammer!)
  • Looking for authentic conversation? Engage with people from across our community (not just your usual circle).
  • Want to Expand your mind? - Join in with journalist, publicist & PR strategist, Dalton Higgins, English professor & founder of the Critical Media Lab, Marcel O’Gorman, and child psychiatrist & international children's advocate, Dr. Jean Clinton discussing why face to face is important and what it means to being human.

This event is free but there’s limited capacity (when we’re full we’re full)

Register now!

Oh and there’s food too - cause you need to feed your body & your brain!

(for those celebrating Ramadan we will have boxed food to take away)
