About this event
The It’s Not Right! Neighbours, Friends, and Families program is designed to educate participants to recognize signs of possible abuse.
The Fraser Valley West Regional Mentor of the BCCRN, Ken Kuhn, will be presenting this interactive workshop where participants will learn to recognize the warning signs and risk factors of senior abuse, will recognize the impact and types of abusive behaviour, will learn how to be supportive and respectful in conversations with the abused senior, and will learn which agencies are available to find support. The Decision Tree will be introduced to help you decide where to go for help depending on the situation. Don't miss this exciting online, fun event.
These workshops are hosted by the BC Association of Community Response Networks for the Fraser Valley West (Maple Ridge, Tri-Cities, New Westminster, Burnaby, & Richmond), Surrey, and Vancouver regions. For any further information or questions, please contact Ken Kuhn, Regional Mentor for Fraser Valley West at ken.kuhn@bccrns.ca.
