Elect More Women Conference 2017
Event Information
Description
The Elect More Women Conference is a non-partisan event offered to women and gender non-conforming people of all political affiliations and experience levels. It is hosted by the Status of Women Committee at the City of Hamilton with community partners. Our goal is to encourage more women to get involved in politics as candidates, organizers and volunteers, and ultimately to work to build election teams for the municipal elections in the autumn of 2018. The conference will feature a keynote address on the importance of Women's leadership in the morning, followed by a panel discussion by elected officials, and a selection of capacity-building workshops in the afternoon.
