About this event
The newly launched Electric Vehicle Charging Program helps municipalities install new EV charging stations in public places, on-street locations, municipal property and for municipal vehicle fleets. Our team can help guide you purchase the right charging station for your community’s needs.
In this information session we will:
- Introduce you to the Calvin Lechelt, Program Lead, Energy Efficiency
- Walk you through the the types of chargers eligible for funding.
- Explain the expression of interest and application process.

Municipal Climate Change Action Centre
The Municipal Climate Change Action Centre was founded in 2009 as a collaborative initiative of Alberta Municipalities, Rural Municipalities of Alberta, and the Government of Alberta. We deliver funding, technical assistance, and education to help Alberta municipalities, school authorities and, community-related organizations advance actions that lower energy costs, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve climate resilience.
