ELF The Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner ELF.
Our production will feature a talented cast of over 40 performers from all over Westman and a live 15 piece orchestra led by Maestro Brent Campbell. The show is brand new to the musical theatre scene and promises to leave audiences with a huge smile.

Virden Theatre Productions is a community group that produces large scale community musicals. They have created a reputation for outstanding work through past productions such as Footloose (2013), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2015), Sound of Music (2015), Crazy for You (2016), Legally Blonde (2017), Mamma Mia (2018), Elf the Musical (2019) and Matilda the Musical (2022). Under Artistic Director Michelle Chyzyk, performers from all over Westman gather together with passionate local volunteers to make the magic!
