EM200 Course - Basic Emergency Management
Tue, 7 Nov 2017, 8:30 AM – Thu, 9 Nov 2017, 4:30 AM EST
NOVEMBER 7 TO 9 - 8:30 TO 4:30
This is the foundational level course, required as a prerequisite for any other OFMEM training. It is a three day course and includes a half day exercise and a multiple choice exam. Added to this provincial course is valuable local content, speakers, examples of real incidents here and elsewhere, as well as videos to make it both educational and enjoyable.
The target audience includes emergency response supervisors, municipal staff and elected officials as well as support agencies involved with the emergency management program.
Our plan is to have a cross-section of agencies and organizations involved to allow for the exchange of information and understanding of each other’s perspective.
It is free of charge to any individual involved in the County’s unified emergency management program (member municipalities) and supporting organizations. Other persons wishing to take the course will be asked to reimburse the County for refreshments, lunches, and course materials ($150).
Dress is business casual (or as stipulated by your own agency).
Once registered here, you must also register on the OFMEM training portal:
