Email marketing continues to be one of the top revenue drivers for most companies. If you are relying on social media, you risk losing connections with your customers and lead pool at the whim of Facebook and others. Build your own list that you own!

In this workshop we will be covering the basics of planning email marketing automation programs and what's available in the market based on your budget.

As a bonus we will do a hands-on session using MailChimp's new automation features if the majority are into that, but the planning process you want to work out is the same no matter what platform you are on. Please bring a laptop so you can build your own program on whatever platform you have selected!

This session will be led by June Macdonald, an email and content marketing veteran. June has experience producing email marketing programs for a broad range of organizations, from small business to enterprise, at companies such as BlackBerry, Chapters, CCH, Sparkplug Coffee, University of Waterloo, Waterloo Potters' Workshop and others. June has used many email marketing platforms, from those geared to small business to enterprise solutions, including Hubspot, Pardot, Responsys, DoubleClick, MailChimp and Constant Contact.
