IT systems have always been crucial for governments for the delivery of benefits and services to the public. In recent times, Cloud Computing has occupied a central place in the discourse on architecture impacting the overall enterprise.
There are many drivers for the adoption of cloud computing, chief among these is the potential avoidance of capital expenditure for on premise hardware in parallel with improvements like improved efficiency, flexibility and scalability making cloud adoption attractive for government agencies. However, navigating the complex choices and challenges faced when considering cloud adoption is not trivial.
