Event description
Through craft, essential oils, finger-body tapping and breathing technique we will learn about mindfulness and emotional wellness.

About this Event

We will create warm seasonal decorations while learning needle felting technique: learn how to create basic shapes and turn them into catchy and unique decorations: acorns and pumpkins.

The session is suitable for adults, adolescents and pre-teens of all skill levels including complete beginners, no experience is necessary.

You will be able to explore your own imagination and get as creative as you want. We will set intentions while crafting and will follow them deeply into our hearts. Repetitive movements of needles into warm, fluffy, gentle unspun wool will create the appropriate state for your mind where you can just fall into meditation state and the whole world will turn off for the time being.

The craft session will last for one hour and half and participants will take needle felting skills home and continue creating new objects for intention setting. Perfect for seasonal decoration, gifting and quality pass time with your family or friends.

Wool becomes a beautiful medium for diffusing essential oils and if you would like to take advantage of plants medicine, you will be invited to infuse your creations with orange, clove and cinnamon essential oils to create warm and energizing atmosphere. You will also be able to create a potpourri with real pine cones and orange and cinnamon essential oils. The session includes all the needed materials and extra kit for needle felting will be available for purchase: 10$ each which will include a needle, unspun wool, a sponge. The craft session will be followed by the age appropriate session on mindfulness which will include various breathing and body techniques including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to learn how better to process and accept emotions.
