Description

The frequency of sexual and other harassment complaints in the workplace is on the rise and has no prospect of slowing down any time soon. As an employer, what are your obligations when an employee comes forward with an allegation of sexual or other harassment? Are employers required by law to conduct a workplace investigation? What does a proper workplace investigation entail? Is there an increased risk of revenge-based complaints? When will sexual and other harassment at work justify a just cause termination? What policies and procedures do employers need to have a legal workplace harassment policy?

This 1.5 hour seminar will explore the increase of sexual and other harassment complaints in the workplace, examine the employers obligations to provide a safe work environment for its employees and customers, how an employer should deal with a complaint and how employers can pro-actively address workplace harassment with legal workplace policies and procedures.

The seminar is free and lunch will be provided. Space is limited.The seminar is free of charge and lunch will be provided. In order to minimize the number of registrants that fail to attend, a $20 refundable registration fee will be charged on registration. This amount will be refunded to you in person upon attendance at the seminar.
