TOPIC TITLE: Lead Like A Woman: Resilience is Your Super Power!

Why are women such great leaders? What is that secret sauce that gives us the ability to withstand challenges and excel? There is a quality that all women are equipped with – how do we know? Because we’ve all had to use it at one time or another. That quality is called The Resilience Factor!

Think about it:

  • In the corporate world, women still have not achieved parity in terms of representation, position or wage equity; the more experienced, qualified woman is not necessarily going to get the job.
  • When it comes to raising our families, 82% of single-parent homes are led by women; 76% of those are gainfully employed.
  • 26% of college undergrads are single parents; the majority of those are women.

Bottom line: finding the way around or through obstacles, juggling a lot of balls and wearing a lot of hats, being able to focus on the end game is the norm for most women.

We can adjust, flex and be resilient because we’re made this way! The Resilience Factor is our Super Power!!
