The world is looking for new ideas and businesses to elevate the energy industry and transition it into a more sustainable model for our future 🌍. Join us and participate in the Energy Transition Game— a workshop focused on finding new energy businesses that contribute to indigenous energy aspirations, economic realities, and provincial policy.
You will have the chance to understand systems thinking by roleplaying and personifying corporations, governments, and stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal as you begin to participate in scenarios that will help you understand the individual, organizational and system-level goals of the energy industry and its stakeholders.
The Energy Transition Game provides hands-on experience learning about the scope, complexity and challenges of the energy industry. Experience firsthand how an energy system evolves in this fast-paced and fun exercise!
Nathan Maycher, Suncor Energy's Director Climate, Disclosure & Integration, along with his team will take participants through this fun-filled and exciting game.
Be prepared for an action-packed two hours 🙌, bring your laptop, and enjoy some pizza and beverages during the event. We invite you to bring your own beverage container with you and email dgrantrichmond@mtroyal.ca with any dietary restrictions or allergies you would like noted.
