About this Event

ENGAGED MINDFULNESS

A Monthly Online Group with Weekly Practice Meditations, in a 4 Month Block.

Bring a commitment to your life for a 4 month period, with intention to deepen your connection to Mindfulness; both with formal guided daily meditations as well as practicing compassionate awareness in your daily life. We know from research that daily practice brings the strongest results in wiring the brain for wellness. You will be given new meditation links based on the monthly themes, ranging from 3 minutes - 20 minutes for regular practice.

Daily commitment to home practice is encouraged. (But don't worry, there won't be spy cameras :-)

Over a period of 4 months, we will explore deepening our Mindfulness practice using traditional teachings in creative ways, honouring our individual, neurodiverse needs.

I'll help you find your unique way to advance on the path of Mindfulness. You will receive weekly guided meditation links for daily practice. One on one support to individualize the practice is available through emails, phone or Zoom calls. Whatever helps you go deeper.

WHEN: FOURTH WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH

7pm - 8pm - Practice

8pm - 8:30pm - Optional discussion about practice

We will dive deeply into formal meditation practice rooted in self-compassion, and engaging Mindfulness practice in our life. To explore this, we will look at the Four Foundations structure to guide us through the four months:

Mindfulness of Body - Breath and Sensations

Mindfulness of Feelings - Underlying Rooted Emotions

Mindfulness of Mind - Thoughts and Mental Events

Mindfulness of the Path, or the Way - Exploring action and engagement in the world.
