Description

FASD is a complex and confusing neurodevelopmental condition that leaves many unsure about how to meet the needs of individuals living with the disability. This training is designed for parents, caregivers and professionals.

What you will learn:

  • Screening and diagnostic processes

  • Primary characteristics and complicating secondary characteristics

  • Accommodations and developing effective interventions

  • FASD through an individual-informed lens

  • A take home toolkit including — “A guide to understanding My Kind of Mind” and “Capacity Function and Planning Guide”
