Enhancing & Strengthening Microboards (Part 2)

The Enhancing and Strengthening Microboards webinar is a two-part series offering an opportunity for Microboards to review their core values and consider a Microboard’s best practices. We will discuss person-centred thinking and active listening and how to weave these concepts into a Microboard’s process. While reviewing Vela Microboard principles, new and experienced Microboards will have an opportunity to learn more about how to strengthen the function of their Microboard.

After attending this two-part series, you will discover what your Microboard does well, and learn about the areas where your Microboard may need to adjust its methods. Newer Microboards will gain a better understanding of a Microboard’s principles to help build a strong foundation before or early in their incorporation.

*You don’t need to attend both webinars, but it is recommended.

Part 2

Part 2 will show a discussion with an experienced Microboard and how the Microboard members are successfully implementing the practices and principles.

*Please note that this will be a longer presentation (roughly 90 minutes plus time for questions). Presentation date will be announced in the new year.
