The event is 1 hour. Panel discussions last 30 - 40 minutes followed by an additional 10 minutes of audience Q&A. Following the discussion, there will be a Venture Connection Mentor Meet session to allow interested students to discuss their ideas with an experienced entrepreneur. Visit for more info.

The Coast Capital Savings Speaker Series aims to educate and increase awareness of SFU students about the opportunities provided by entrepreneurship.

Events are tailored to specific programs such as Science, Engineering, Business, Communication, Arts, Environment, etc. They are intended for any student interested in learning about entrepreneurship or considering a startup venture. The format is a casual discussion with a panel of company founders and entrepreneurs who share their experiences, stories, and advice. These discussions are directed through the themes and questions provided by students as part of the event registration process.
