What are the Cold, Hard Facts?
This presentation will look at the empirical connection between entrepreneurship and economic freedom. As shown by our survey of all available studies, the more the institutions of a country, of a province or state, or of a metropolitan area leave economic choices in the hands of individuals rather than submit them to the political process, the more entrepreneurs there are and the more their businesses are devoted to productive activities. You can find the paper on the Montreal Economic Institute's website at: http://www.iedm.org/65082-entrepreneurship-and-economic-freedom-an-analysis-of-empirical-studies.
